Newquay Zoo is situated at the end of a long, tree-lined drive on the outskirts of Newquay on the North coast of Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Consequently, the garden is very colourful. There are also a number of other features which make this Japanese garden unique.

In the pond are various floating plants such as water lilies, duckweed, and lotus leaves. There are no weeds in the pond because the owner removes them. There are lots of butterflies and dragonflies as well. The garden is very serene and tranquil.
